Camio Custom Cabinetry Announces Acquisition

December 1, 2018


Canton, MA – Locally owned Camio Custom Cabinetry announced today that it will be acquiring solid surface fabricator Counter Productions effective December 14, 2018.


The acquisition will strengthen Camio’s move into solid surface fabrication and follows a 2017 acquisition of Padco Countertop Company. Camio will move some of the staff of Counter Productions to Camio in December. With this move, Camio looks to further enhance their solid surface fabrication business and follows the recent agreement to produce solid surface countertops for 27 Lowe’s stores.


About Camio Custom Cabinetry


Camio began operations in 1947 in Hyde Park, MA and has grown into and out of seven locations in that time and currently operates in Canton, MA. Current ownership Chris Constantino and Michael Shea are the grandsons of founder Dominic Constantino and purchased the business in 2011 from Donald and Robert Constantino who had run the business for 50 years together. Winners of the 2017 Small Business Association Family Business of the Year in New England Camio is proud to carry on the traditions set forth some 71 years ago. In addition to solid surface, Camio manufactures cabinetry for many different applications from custom kitchens to apartment buildings and nursing homes to commercial projects such as hospitals and office buildouts. 


Camio plans to continue to invest in the current manufacturing facility which the company purchased in 2017 by adding an additional CNC machine to cut parts for cabinetry jobs as well as the solid surface.
